OOCly, though, I’m a more go-with-the-flow person and prefer a couple of threads of CR to judge if our characters have chemistry before committing to shipping. Mild injuries (bruises, scratches etc.) are fine. • Playing a DnD-related character or Waterdeep: Dragon Heist NPC? By default, I assume no prior CR with any official DnD franchise characters unless we've agreed on something OOCly! If you're playing a high-profile character (e.g. Jarlaxle Baenre), I'll handwave away any personal encounters Absinthe may have had in her campaign and play it as her having heard of them only. I may reach out to you offering to do a test-thread to see if you'd be comfortable establishing CR between our characters (only for 1-2 specific NPCs), but you can absolutely turn it down and I’ll handwave that CR away if you do.
